Feds charge researcher in HIV vaccine fraud case

Federal prosecutors have filed charges against a scientist after he admitted that he falsified data that led to millions in grants for an HIV vaccine. According to investigators, a former Iowa State University lab manager has confessed to spiking samples of rabbit blood with human antibodies to make an HIV vaccine candidate appear groundbreaking.
