Government funds Ebola, Marburg vaccine
The federal government has granted researchers at Emory, the Georgia Institute of Technology and Texas Biomed a $5.4 million grant to further develop a vaccine against Ebola and Marburg hemorrhagic. The shot, which uses parts of the virus to elicit immunity, has already been tested in rats and will now be studied in nonhuman primates. Article
